PANAMA
sideboard
The 1950s style is present in Panamá design as functionality of the piece was very important at the time and they wanted to capture it in this sideboard.
The designers wanted to give importance to the woodwork, so they were inspired by the unique pointed end shape of the cargo ships when designing the door handle. They also liked the hull shape profile of these boats so they could use it as a reference for designing the structure.
A slight visual aspect, but with enough consistency to support the weight of the furniture.
